We are currently working with a group from Concordia College called Project Homeless, which is gathering winter coats to be distributed directly to the homeless population.
What we are needing is heavy winter coats (used is great, but no dress coats, these are going to people who will be homeless this winter). Both men's and women's coats are needed, but our greatest need would be the men's coats.
If you have some coats to donate, please either contact us via Facebook, and we can arrange a time to meet you. If you want, you can drop off them off on the porch of our building (421 Faith Lane, the brick house next to Faith Lutheran Church on second street, it's the old Head Start building) and someone will be checking daily for drop offs.
